• Why might you consider using a travel agent? While online booking may be easy at times, navigating countless choices and selecting the ideal options can be overwhelming. Some love to plan independently, but if you'd like to turn it over to a professional, I can research and book your trip at no cost to you. How am I paid to help you? I am compensated by vendor commission after you take your trip. (I am not paid a salary or hourly rate from my host agency.) I cut through the clutter, make sensible and relevant recommendations tailored to your budget, and book with the most reputable suppliers. I will provide expert attention to your needs and there are no fees. I serve as your advisor throughout every stage of your journey—prior to departure, during your travels, and upon your return. I provide you with printed documents and all of your trip information in your own customized Trip Plans App.

Experience 

• Since 2016, I've been enjoying my role as a travel advisor (independent contractor) with Enchanted Memories Travel in Franklin, MA. I've earned Elite status and consistently rank in the annual top 10! While the founder's storefront agency's office is near my home, I primarily work remotely. Enchanted Memories Travel, an LLC in MA, is affiliated with CLIA, IATA, and Travel Leaders Network. The company started small in 2012 and has since expanded to include over 250 independent agents nationwide. My repeat clients have been key to my success, and I am grateful for their ongoing support of my independent business. I am positively enthusiastic about my work and proud to be a travel advisor, helping clients who often become my friends! 

My function - I am always here for you and want to create the full trip you desire:

• My no-fee service is best for you when I create a full trip. This usually includes reserving your accommodation, cruise, guided tour, or a multi-location vacation with flights. These types of bookings are commissionable to me at no additional expense to you. Also, a perk of booking with me is that most vendors request only a smaller deposit, with the remaining balance due closer to your travel date. You can make interim payments if you book in advance, and payments are refundable up to the final payment deadline or the point where vendor cancellation charges are incurred.
• In addition, I would love it if you also allow me to coordinate and book other segments of your complete vacation. This includes items such as travel insurance, excursions and transfers. I want to create a well planned trip that makes you happy. It makes me happy too!
• If your needs are simple, such as booking an airline or rail ticket, or searching for a rental home or apartment, it is best for you to handle these directly with the supplier since I cannot charge a fee for these non-commissionable bookings. Maybe I can work for you at another time!
• If you prefer to arrange your own airfare for a trip I'm booking for you, that's perfectly fine: I understand the value and importance of utilizing your valuable loyalty points or airline miles. I will notate your independently booked air to your custom trip itinerary. However, in these situations, to ensure I can effectively serve as your travel agent and provide planning support throughout your entire journey, I require that you allow me to book the other core commissionable products, such as hotel accommodations for a minimum of 3 nights, a cruise, or a guided tour. Please note that hotel suppliers may not always add your loyalty program numbers to stays I book on your behalf. However, if I arrange your flights as part of a complete package, you should still receive airline miles.

What about cost? Is it more expensive to plan through me? 

• It is important for me to know your thoughts of how much you think the trip you desire may cost. I will work within this parameter or let you know upfront if I think the expectation is too low. When I present a proposal, I am not including poor quality travel products. I won't suggest a basic economy airfare. I usually include cash back travel insurance on the proposal. I avoid nonrefundable options. Sometimes your entire trip be on one full package booking. So, you may look at the total and think it is too expensive. But if you are used to planning your own trips with many supplier bookings made at different times, you may not always be seeing the full picture of your vacation investment in one spot, such as I am providing. Look through my entire proposal and see the value. We can tweak it many times before deposit to get it right. 
• Inflation has taken hold in the travel industry just as it has everywhere. I am providing fair pricing without markups. I regret that I cannot price match anything you may find with other travel companies after you see my proposal. It is almost never 'apples to apples'. Price matching means my expected commission becomes negligible. Since I put so much time and effort into creating your trip, and I do not charge planning fees, it is not fair to me to work for free. Rest assured, I look for the best prices possble for your vacation experience. Life can be too short. I want you to have a quality trip that will provide wonderful memories.
